Dr. Clarene Cress
Specializes in Pediatrics
Reflux and ? colitis: Bad burps are signs of GE reflux, and may benefit from antacid, H2 blockers like Zantac, (ranitidine) or PPI meds like Prilosec. Bad gas and bloody stools are more worrisome and could suggest an underlying infection or colitis unless you have a fissure or hemorrhoids from constipation. Please see your doctor or a gastroenteritis.
