Hormone changes: Some women have a little bit of bleeding when they ovulate. This is because of hormonal changes with ovulation. The good news is that, though the egg only hangs around for hours, sperm can wait around for several days. If you have intercourse before ovulation, you can avoid the bleeding and still get pregnant.
