Here are some ...: First, establish Dx; for an 80-yr man, most common problems for urination still result from bladder outlet obstruction from poor relaxation of bladder neck/prostate urethra/prostate enlargement or urethral stricture, which are not difficult to figure out with good history, physicals, testing UA, residual urine, & possible cystourethroscopy, etc. Then the Rx follows suit accordingly.
