Connect with someone: Sounds like a stress reaction. Call family or friend. Get connected and tell them about your feelings. Often times affirmation from others is enough to get you settled down. If this is a recurrent problem get help.

Causes of anxiety: Anxiety, nervousness and memory loss can be caused by stress and sleeplessness, but can also be symptoms of anxiety or depression. Other problems such as thyroid disease can also present this way. You should be seen by a doctor since less common diseases can look similar and treatments are available for all of these problems.

Deep breaths: Anxiety can be a tough thing to have because it feeds upon itself. It's up to you to break the cycles. Why do you feel like you're losing memory? First try to clear your mind in a quiet room and focus on a single point in your mind, blocking all other thoughts. Breathe deeply and slowly. This is the basic pathway of meditation and it should help you decrease your stress.
