Aphthous ulcer: This is normal. In some individuals the stress of an infection can bring about these oral mucosal ulcers. Keep your mouth clean, avoid aggressive brushing of teeth or foods that irritate the ulcer. Gargle gently with salt water after every meal. These ulcers are self limited and will resolve spontaneously if kept clean.
