Muscle strain: At 17 yo you are unlikely to have a serious problem with your low back. It is most likely a muscle strain or pull. Try alternating ice and heat and gentle stretches. An antiinflammatory like advil (ibuprofen) may also help. If the pain does not go away in a week or so see your doctor.

Muscle: It is likely muscular since you are saying its worse with movement. However, that is not specific enough to rule out other causes. You would need to give us more information as back pain is so common and the list of differential diagnosis is very long.
