Probably: The contact lenses correct you for far away vision. At 44 years old you will have some degree of presbyopia (loss of ability to focus up close) and with the lenses may have some reading difficulty. Ask your doctor whether you can make the lenses a little better for near without jeopardizing your distance vision.

You can try one eye with contact for near and the other for far vision. The also make bifocal contacts, which I have had limited success with.

OCD: What are you doing for the OCD? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and pharmacotherapy are two approaches that my be quite helpful. I have also seen amazing results treating OCD with cranial electrotherapy stimulation (even though it is not an FDA indication).
