A 33-year-old member asked:
how many days do the symptoms of sinusitis last?

ENT and Head and Neck Surgery 29 years experience
7+ days: Early sinusitis symptoms are indistinguishable from cold/ URI symptoms. Nasal congestion, stuffy, runny nose, post nasal drip, cough, sore throat, facial pressure or fullness. Usually, as cold symptoms resolve over 7-14 days, you feel better. If symptoms worsen, treatment which includes saline nasal spray, nasal corticosteroids, pain relievers and antibiotics (if needed), allergy control will help.
