right eyelid pain and inflammation.. what could the cause be? no discharge or vision problems

Couple options: You could have a chalazion (stye) in the eyelid, you could have blepharitis (eyelash inflammation) or you could have cellulitis (infection) in the eyelid. See your doctor or urgent care to determine what is going on.
