My lips and inner cheeks have been sore/raw the last few days like they are if i eat lots of salt, but i haven't. all inside my mouth. should i worry?

Likely virus: Many mouth sores stem from viral infections, trauma such as biting your cheeks, or excess citric fruits like too many oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes (>6/day). Nothing will make it get better faster, but warm salt water gargles (1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm tap water) sometimes will make it feel better. Oral analgesics such as for babies can be used sparingly.
