Exertional headaches: The pain from an exertional headache can last hours or days. Is it very very bad? Have you tried any treatment yet? Some people find the pain of an exertional headache improves with a little tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen.

5 min to 48 hours: Exertional headaches typically last between 5 minutes and 48 hours and are brought on only during or after physical activity. It is thought to be worse in the heat and can often respond well to an NSAID like indomethacin.
