Palpitations: Although these can be signs, it is very rare for someone your age to have a heart attack. The same signs occur with panic attacks. Based on your history, you have had similar episodes before, so you probably had a cardiac work-up in the past. Were previous tests normal when you felt like this? Call a doctor who knows you well for a safe and accurate assessment and a plan for recurrences.
