when i woke up 2 days ago, my neck/back of head hurt. same evening i got slight fever and soar throat. now just neckhurts,especially when lying down?

Viral...: It sounds you might be going through a viral infection which can give you symptoms like the ones you describe. Your muscles may also feel sore besides having sore throat, congestion, cough, fever, among others. If you are feeling better as you are describing it should go way on its own in a few days. In the meantime rest, drink plenty of fluids and for pain you may take analgesics if not allergic.
