Need consent in Mass: In Massachusetts,18 is the age of consent. There are exceptions to this requirement in certain cases: in an emergency, or if consent may result in harm (e.g. parental abuse). The age of consent (& exceptions) depends on your state's laws. Bone spurs are less likely than a soft tissue injury (strain or strain). Depending on cause & severity, your doc may or may not do an x-ray, give brace, meds.
