Same: They are all retin-a. Gel is stronger than cream and more irritating.

Depends on skin type: These are all retin a containing products and the proper formulation for use depends on your skin type. For example if you have very oily skin, the gel works best. If you have dry or sensitive skin Renova (tretinoin) or retin a micro contain moisturizers and/or time release dispersion of the retin a to diminish adverse side effects of the traditional retin a preparations.
