Get checked: I agree it is hard to tell what this is from your description, but with body wide muscle twitches/jerks and high CPK, you need to be checked. This could be related to a muscle disease, a medication, or a metabolic problem. See your doctor and get checked as soon as you can. Good luck!

Likely not ALS: Weakness and muscle atrophy are the most common symptoms of als. Memory and thinking are typically not affected. Pain is not a symptom.
