Starting this tuesday i have been unusually tried, i slept for 21 hours tues, 16 hours wed and 20 hours today. i'm still exhausted. my thyroid is normal, my doctors keep ignoring the fatigue. help!

Get a serum: Free T3 (liothyronine) and Free T4 test. They have to be sent out...not in normal "thyroid panel"....If low Free T3 (liothyronine),...Armour Thyroid, to increase Free T3 (liothyronine) to high normal. Also, Mononucleosis is in there....You may be anemic so simple CBC with diff.

Talk to your doctor: Fatigue is nonspecific caused by many things and is often not due to a serious problem. First make sure your doctor carefully evaluates you for serious problems. I suggest staying away from medications that can affect your mood and energy level unless they are absolutely needed for some other reason as they can contribute
