if i never had chicken pox, can i get one by coming in contact with someone who developed shingles (herpes) and previously had chicken pox?

Not contagious: As previously taught to you Shingles is not contagious. It is a deep (inside the nerves of the affected human) reactivation of their previous infection with chicken pox. If you are worried you should get the Varicalla (chicken pox) vaccination.
