Pediatric glaucoma and related ocular problems are very difficult and challenging to treat and manage. It is best to have a multidisciplinary team consisting of a pediatric glaucoma Subspecialist, a pediatric ophthalmologist and a Pediatrician. The management lasts a lifetime.

Best care for son: Sounds like you are giving your son the best care possible. Glaucoma & cataracts in children can be challenging but success rates have increased significantly thru the years: Ahmed valves are sometimes the best option. Best you can do: f/u with good glaucoma specialist who can guide you through the options now & for the future (ie, if needs contact lenses, low vision, etc).eyedoc2020.blogspot.com
