had sono yest, showed 2cm dominant follicle, had paid in rght ovary yest and lots of cm, today pain is gone and the amnt of cm decreased, did i o ?

Ovulation: You most likely ovulated. Dominant follicles are seen on sono just prior to ovulation. Your description of pain with the follicle, and then resolution with decreasing size of the cyst fits. You could have also just had a small ovarian cyst that involuted (resolved). It usually happens every month...many women never have pain with these follicles.

Yes: If you do not have an LH surge you won't ovulate. Something called a luteinized unruptured follicle has also been described.
