i started birth control 11 days ago (a combination pill, chateal) on the first day of my period and it has lasted 11 days. how can i stop my period?

Long period: Please see your provider, if your exam has been normal before starting the pill then your doctor might want to change your pills, although it could take 2-3 months for period to be regulated on pills.
