Healthy diet: HCV is a chronic viral disease that can lead to liver damage and failure. Additional insults, such as high fat diets, alcohol and excessive medications like tylenol, (acetaminophen) can add to the severity of injury. Interestingly, there is some data to suggest that drinking more than 4 cups of caffeinated coffee a day can protect the liver. The real goal should be to treat your HCV, which is almost 100% curable
