Lung markings: Hi HajjM, that is a very general term used to describe what is going on within the tissue of lung when seen on a chest xray. In the lung you have airbags (alveoli) and tissue(interstitium). The tissue has blood vessels, lymph vessels, and many cells that make up the framework of the lung. When seen on xray, it could mean several things. Talk with your doctor about the findings. Hope that helps.
