i have a bump on my face , its red and it hurts to the touch , it also is shedding once in a while but looks like a pimple . ?

Probably Acne "Cyst": Arleen, This is probably an acne cyst, which is a ruptured, painful bump where an oil gland ruptured below the skin. The body walls this off and makes a filled cavity called a cyst. Often this is serious and can scar, so you should see a dermatologist for help. Possibly, an injection of the cyst with a dilute cortisone would help.
