High Risk Pregnancy: Health care power of attorney and a general power of attorney are two separate things which would be best taken care of with your attorney. Fmla or family medical leave act gives one the right to take time off for a family medical problem. This is twelve weeks of leave and in most companies it is not paid leave. Human resources for most companies will have more information.
