Cancerphobia: A psychiatrist or other mental health counselor can help you. Your gynecologist has already explained to you that adnexal cysts at your age are essentially never cancer. The fear that this family of illnesses generates is understandable, and I trust you recognize that these fears, which you say are crippling you, are unrealistic. ER: certainly go to your ER or UC clinic. Usually a ruptured ovarian cyst is quite painful; however, if bleeding, this can cause your issues.
