Varies: Every doctor is different. Also it depends on whether or not you are high risk. In general for a low risk pregnancy you could be seen once a month until 7 months. You will be seen every 2 to 3 weeks after that until the last month of the pregnancy when you will be seen once a week.

Pregnancy Priority: It sounds obvious but bringing a child into our lives is one of the biggest game changers. They become a priority and this begins before conception and definitely during your pregnancy. Inquire if your OB offers extended hours? If not, then discuss this with your employer about arriving a little late or leaving a little early so you can obtain consistent prenatal care.

Is no "best" time: In an uncomplicated pregnancy, there is no reason you can't work up until you go into labor. If you experience preterm labor, significant bleeding or other complications, your doctor may restrict you earlier.
