Today i went on a 6 ml hike up a butte paddle boarded and mowed my lawn but still can't sleep? my mind wont shut off no matter how active i am!? help.

Wired and Tired?: I recommend you take a warm bath with Epsom salts in it, drink some hot chamomile tea, take melatonin (about 2mg), and lie down in your bed. There are lots of smartphone apps with bedtime hypnosis or meditation tracts that might help, too. If that doesn't help and you continue to have this problem repeatedly, then see your doctor. I wish you the very best.

Look at other things: If exercise isn't helping, you need to look at other things that might be making it hard for you to fall asleep. Check out these sites for suggestions: Medline Plus http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/magazine/issues/summer12/articles/summer12pg20.html and the National Sleep Foundation http://sleepfoundation.org/sleep-tools-tips/healthy-sleep-tips. If these don't help, talk to your doctor.
