is there anything that can be done to strengthen the chances of having a boy in our next pregnancy?

50/50 chance: Despite all the old wives tales out there (and thee are lots of them), you have roughly a 50/50 chance of having a boy. No standing on your head, no vaginal douches, no mysterious amulets. Hope for the best, but realistically, no the is nothing you can do to improve odds of a boy.
