May be influenza: Although not the season for the flu, the description of the symptoms are fairly typical for viral infection. Assuming that you are otherwise healthy and not exposed to other infectious agents or traveled outside of the US recently, these symptoms usually will pass in a week. Meanwhile, drink plenty of fluids, take tylenol (acetaminophen) for fever and aches and stay in bed. If anything gets worse, see your MD
