how many good quality follicles are optimally required for a successful ivf?

Dr. Asha Kamnani

4 to 6: It is good to retrieve 4 to 6 follicles of good quality. As fertilization is also usually about 60 to 70% followed by further reduction until blastocyst formation. This way one can be guaranteed to have at least 2 good blastocyst for transfer. Good Luck.
