Needs help to fix: If you've truly dislocated your patella, then you should seek care right away so that the dislocation can be reduced, and any further care for the injury can be rendered. Splint the leg in your position of comfort and apply an ice pack, then get to the ER. If this is a chronic problem, then you may benefit from physical therapy, and perhaps a brace. Consultation with an ortho or sports med.
