Dramatic disease: These kids have 104-5+ temperatures foe 5-8 days, the white of their eyes are red without discharge, their tongue is red, their glands swollen all over, and often a platelet count is 3-4X normal.Skin around the fingers often peals late. It mimics a bad case of measles, only worse with more findings. I've encountered 2 in nearly 40 years,so it is rare.
