I would change: to 50% water and 50% peroxide. Salt water may be causing itch, add a little aquaphor to lubricate the pierce and spin pierce daily

Stop peroxide: Hydrogen peroxide is not beneficial for any wound and tends to be irritating. Aquaphor or vaseline is OK. Water (a shower) is good for it. Leave it alone, do not spin it. Avoid alcohol, iodine, bacitracin, neosporin as these are never useful on existing wounds and are irritating or sensitizing. If the stud is not surgical steel or 14k gold you may be reacting with allergy to nickel sulfate.
