can anyone tell me the difference between otc hydrocortisone and hydrocortisone valerate?

Strength: Steroids are classified from 1-6 .Hydrocrtisone is weak. The value rate version is much stronger and should not be sued in sensitive areas such as face, armpits or groin. It will thin the skin and potentially cause stretch marks with extended use.
