Hypopigmentation: Depigmentation Vs. Hypopigmentation is the main question. It is a lot more difficult to repigment the skin in an where melanocytes (cells that produce pigment) have been completely lost. Treatment options include use of Narrow Band UVB light therapy, Excimer laser, Topical Tacolimus or Pimecrolimus are a short list of treatment options. A Dermatologist may assist in selecting appropriate therapy.
