No: In kidney failure you don't pee at all, or make very little pee. With a nephritis you will pee blood or protein.I will assume that was looked at when you were seen. If you are not communicating well with the doc you have, try again or look for another. You sound like OAB.

Is there a connection between bubble baths and urinary tract infections (utis)?

Yes: Bubble baths/scented shampoos/ dirty bath water all have been linked to uti's in females from toddlers to adults. These agents can trigger irritation directly or leave a soapy film on female genitals. If not well rinsed, it may remain & trigger itching/redness/drainage. Bacteria may accompany the irritation & make the short trip to the bladder. I rarely see it in males, different parts.

Can gonorrhea contribute to kidney failure in men?

Dr. Francine Yep

Possible, Not Top 4: Top 4 complications from gonorrhea [gc]: sterility, infectious arthritis, diseased heart valves, meningitis. Gc can spread into your blood and cause septic shock, which can lead to kidney failure & other systemwide problems. Thankfully this doesn't happen often. Also, remember if you get gc, you can get other std's like hiv. Be safe and smart. Use condoms. No love without the glove.
