A 29-year-old female asked:
My LH level is 4 and FSH level is 2 , 3 days before my cycle. Does it indicated pcos ?

Nope: A diagnosis of pcos usually gives a lh to fsh ratio of 3:1 in about 30% of women with pcos. A more efficient assessment may be to use the ratio of fasting levels of glucose to insulin. When <4.5, this ratio has strong correlation with Insulin resistance. Go see you doctor for further explanation.
