What's a saver cold: If one experiences shortness of breath with or after an upper respiratory infection, i would be concerned that there is some for of asthma going on, where the little bronchial tubes become sensitive and go into spasm. A simple 'cold' should resolve with simple measures like lots of clear fluids, hot shower/compresses over nasal passages. If persists or short of breath, c ur doc.
