Rash: It is very difficult to identify rashes, without seeing them. If it's itchy, it could be an allergic reaction, eczema or insect bites. There are a couple of itchy viral rashes, too, but if his immunizations are up to date; this is unlikely.

Allergic rash: Your son seems to have allergic reaction of skin with bumps and itching.He might have got reaction to either food ,medicine or bug bite while being out sides the house .Consult your doctor for treatment .You may try to give benadryl (diphenhydramine) and apply 1% Hydrocortisone for rash .
