I have mild ashtma but never had asthma attack. however when i am around tobacco smoke, my throat and chest tighten up. allergic to 2nd hand tobacco smoke? is there such a thing?

Possible: Smoke is an irritant. While allergy is a possibility, more likely your symptoms are due to the irritating effects of smoke rather than allergy.
