Tests for SUI: Urodynamics, or bladder function testing, is performed to evaluate the cause of incontinence. Although stress incontinence generally occurs with cough or sneeze, sometimes a bladder contraction is started and surgery is not the remedy, rather medication may help. A small catheter is placed in the bladder and vagina to evaluate this.
