What is the addictio: You probably wish there was a clear answer but there is not. Everyone's needs are different. It also will initially depend on what you are addicted to and whether you will need meds during withdrawal. Beating Ian addiction is very difficult and most who are successful are involved in some sort of counseling and/or support group. However, some need meds to help their moods during this process

No: There is no description of an oxygen withdrawal syndrome (providing one maintains an appropriate minimum oxygen level) presumably the net benefit of chronic oxygen outweighs the net side effects so a necessary aspect of addiction does not exist.

Why is sex addiction difficult to treat in younger people?

Focus of young: For a number of reasons sexual activity is much higher in young people anyway. For instance, hormone levels tend to stimulate interest. But also young people are surrounded by messages in the media and social media encouraging relationships and sexuality. All of this makes treatment harder, but certainly not possible.
