See below: It doesn't matter if you are referring to yourself or someone else, the person should seek help as soon as possible. See a trained mental health specialist. Sometimes sleep disturbance and drug intoxication can cause hallucinations. The symptoms may improve w/ treatment of the depression. A sleep study may be helpful & drug rehab may also be needed if alcohol use affects other areas of life.
