after nearly 3 weeks of taking seasonique birth control pill, will it effectively act as a conterceptive pill (ie. plan b) to stop the pregnancy?

Not the right use: Seasonique is a "birth control pill". It was never marketed to stop pregnancy neither is Plan B. Plan B is for "emergency contraception", which is still "prevention". If you think you are pregnant you can use a home pregnancy test but you should really see your family physician or gynecologist if you are not sure why your period is late.

Neither: Seasonique nor Plan B can be used for an abortion. If seasonique were used as an emergency contraceptive it woudl require 4 light-blue-green pills initially followed by 4 light-blue-green pills 12 hours later. REF: http://ec.princeton.edu/questions/dose.html#dose

Highly Unlikely: The pill itself without any plan B is 95-97% effective. With the addition, the chance of pregnancy is very very slim to impossible.
