Is it safe to do the Paleo diet for someone that has slightly high cholesterol & also has hypothyroidism? Any books that can be recommended?

Yes if done wisely: Yes, the Paleo Diet is safe for anyone to try, but it is crucial to eat only organic meats/dairy/eggs & wild seafood. I would eat primarily vegetables, fruits, nuts & seeds. Your cholesterol may decrease. I recommend The Paleo Approach by Sarah Ballantyne. See http://bit.ly/19XAX7E & http://bit.ly/1era8LT Due to hypothyroidism minimize raw cruciferous veggies like cabbage & broccoli (OK cooked).
