LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!: Always LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! If PT (or any other activity) is aggravating your pain, STOP IT to make sure you not causing more damage. HAVING CORRECT DIAGNOSIS IS MANDATORY BEFORE ANY TREATMENT. Different PT is indicated for different painful conditions. PT is generally good for muscle pain and joint pain; passive PT first, exercises later.

Maybe your problem: is bigger than originally thought. May want to see surgeon to discuss issues.
