do you think i'll need to take supplements/vitamins if i'm vegan?

Absolutely: The vegan diet is the moral high ground. However, if you do not supplement, you are looking at brain damage from vitamin B12 deficiency alone within a few months. You are also likely to need to supplement calcium, iodine, iron and some others. Get your information from someone reliable, not a cultist. The vegan community itself has guides on required supplements. Be smart.
