MRI Pituitary Gland: I am not certain I fully understand your question. High prolactin levels in the blood are frequently due to functioning Microadenoma of the Pituitary Gland. MRI of the Pituitary demonstrates these lesions. Study takes under 30 minutes. Requires administration of Gadolinium.
