Middle ear fluid: This is very common after prolonged air travel. The changes in cabin pressure requires the middle ear to ventilate via the auditory tube (ear popping). If the ear does not aerate, fluid will accumulate. Use a decongestant such as sudafed and gently try and "pop" your ear. If it doesn't get better, see an ENT physician.
